We adore you O Christ and we bless you,
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
主キリスト、あなたを礼拝し、賛美します。
あなたは尊い十字架とご死去をもって、世をあがなってくださいました。
◆Station 2 — Jesus takes up His cross ／イエス、十字架を担ぐ
I have come not for the well but for the ill.
わたしが来たのは丈夫な人のためではなく、病人のためです。（マタイ9:12-13）
Lord, Jesus, have mercy on us and heal us.
主イエスよ、どうか私達を憐れみ、癒やして下さい。
Tried from a night of questioning and torment,
Jesus acts in obedience and love, taking up the heavy crossbeam,
the weight of the wood and the weight of the world.
その夜、尋問と拷問の裁判にかけられたが、
イエスは従順と愛の態度で、重い十字架（大梁）を担いだ。
その木の重み、そしてこの世の重みを。
Lord, help me to remember that you are no stranger to suffering.
Whether the burdens of this day are heavy with worry and pain
or just wearying from the routines of each day,
help me to remember that you are with me so that I may find, in you presence,
healing, comfort and companionship.
主よ、どうかあなたが苦難をよくご存知の方であることを思い起こさせて下さい。
そして日々の重荷が、重く、不安と痛みが伴うものであっても、
あるいは、ただの繰り返される日々のできごとからの疲れであっても、
あなたは私の側にいる事を思い出させて下さい。そうすればあなたの臨在と
癒やし、慰め、そして共にいてくださる方がいる、という事を私は見出すでしょう。
Lord Jesus Crucified, have mercy on us.
十字架にかけられたイエスよ、我らをあわれんで下さい。
